After killing millions of brain cells, we finally came up with "hiong hiong" games to make sure it will be a "special n memorable" day for David and his bros. I'm sure they won't forget the "superman" attire (w/o the cape) for quite a while....hahaha!
The bros were fun and sporting! They were also very cunning. It was the first time we encountered groom & bride together with ah yees being locked out of the groom's house by the bros, asking for ang pow and song item before we can enter the house for tea ceremony. But we, the ah yees, are cunning too....we returned the favour at Serene's house....our battle is like no finish no end...but all of us enjoyed and had great fun! Think we are getting a kick out of doing ah yees, some of us even talked about setting professional ah yees services leh...any takers?
Though it was a long day, I'm glad and privileged to be helping a good friend who is also my leader. So glad she found her prince charming.... David, pls remember your "wedding vows" (the ah yees' version) to Serene, hor.David and Serene, we wish you a blessed marriage with many joy and laughters.
