Eng Wee's Convocation

Yesterday was Eng Wee's convocation ceremony. It was a joyous occasion for him and us all. ES and I 'pon-ten' care group and were at NTU to witness the occasion on big screen. My father-in-law and Jackie were inside the auditorium for the ceremony.

Denise (DT) : It was our first time watching a uni convocation. Quite interesting; especially with the professors and deans wearing their colorful gowns; orange, white, blue, yellow etc. I like the part they lead out the graduates from the auditorium on the red carpet; wow, quite grand.

ES: The ceremony is little dry. Good thing is my brother went up to receive his degree not long after we arrived at the big screen.

DT : Yeah, too bad my handphone camera could not capture the photo well.

ES : We're happy for him. I remember he almost wanted to quit his Uni studies that first semester after army disruption. Glad that he made the right choice to continue. It worked out well for him.

DT : Hmmm... think he's also delighted that Jackie is there to witness the occasion...hee!

We wish all the best for his new phase of life!
